2WD K5's are VERY uncommon when compared to 4x4 versions. I would be willing to say there is about 1 2WD for every 10-15 4x4's. I wouldn't think twice to convert one.

My other option would be to pull the 2wd P/U body off and then modify it, and then stick the Blazer body onto the 2wd frame. A 4WD gives you more power than a 2WD.

Just putting out a feeler here for conversion of a qc 4wd to 2wd. Has anyone heard of a dodge being converted, I have seen a conversion kit for chevy's and was wondering what would need to be done other than dropping the front axle, changing the front hub assemblies, and what about the suspension, tranny change needed? or can you just remove the front prop shaft and call it good.
